Support Site User Guide

This section of the guide is out of date.

Freedom2Roam has now been released and replaces RAv3. Guidance on using Freedom2Roam is available here.

For the majority of users, the AnyConnect icon will not appear as it contains functionality that should be restricted to technically advanced users only.

If AnyConnect is enabled, you will be required to install a Cisco client application on your computer for the connection to work. This is done automatically when you click Start AnyConnect.

If you are using an Apple computer running OS X then please be aware that Cisco's AnyConnect client no longer supports versions prior to 10.6 (Snow Leopard).

There is a free version of AnyConnect available for devices running iOS (including iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch) which can be downloaded via the Apple App Store.

Windows users wishing to run AnyConnect should first ensure that the remote access site is added to your Safe Sites in Internet Explorer.
