On clicking Test connection a SOAP error is returned. This error is related to the installation of the Wauton Samuel web services at the school. If the SOAP error is returned please check the following: •Has the Web Service URL given on the Wauton Samuel document been entered correctly? •Has the password been entered correctly? Please check that the password provided by Wauton Samuel was entered correctly. If either of these had been entered incorrectly, you will need to restart your IIS web services to allow for the changes to take effect. If the username and the password were correct, please check the About tab within the Waulton Samuel software that the Web Services version which you are running is up to date (at least 3.0.7). If it is an earlier version please contact Wauton Samuel for an update. |
This error occurs within the AutoUpdate program when trying to create a scheduled task, the error message reads: error: a specified logon session does not exist. It may have already been terminated. This is caused by the Security Policy Network access: Do not allow storage of passwords and credentials for network authentication. When this Security Policy is enabled you will not be able to create a scheduled task from within the AutoUpdate program. Instead a scheduled task will need to be created manually within the operating system. When doing this the task will need to run nightly and run the following batch file: C:\Program Files\Atomwide Ltd\USO-AutoUpdate\usoau-schedule-1.bat |
